Job summary

LA Family Housing Corporation seeks a Housing Stabilizer to provide intensive, home and community-based case management to households transitioning out of homelessness. The role involves assessments, goal planning, linking to resources, and crisis intervention for clients facing trauma and health barriers.

Collaborate with community-based organizations to assess housing stability, coordinate services, and support clients’ needs in health, mental health, and income domains.

Qualifications

• 1 year of work history and transferable skills.
• Experience with homeless services or related field preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage households transitioning out of homelessness using Trauma-Informed Care and Housing First principles.
• Provide intensive case management including living skills, budgeting, housing stabilization, and referrals.
• Maintain comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized goal plans.
• Coordinate with landlords, community providers, and service partners; ensure crisis intervention when needed.
• Attend trainings, participate in team meetings, and mentor new staff when required.
