Job summary

Volunteers of America Colorado is seeking a Residential Coordinator for Irving Street Women’s Residence in Denver. You will oversee the facility during your shift and support residents in maintaining housing and connecting with community resources.

This HUD Safe Haven program serves up to 25 unaccompanied women and gender-diverse individuals with chronic homelessness and mental health needs. You will document interactions, supervise staff and volunteers, and assist with securing housing upon

Qualifications

Associates Degree in a related area or the equivalent experience in human services.
One-year direct human service experience.
Willing to obtain first aid, AED and CPR certifications within 30 days of hire.
Criminal and civil background checks within 30 days of hire.
Good organisational and planning skills; works well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Ensures resident voice is heard and ideas influence programming.
Knows program requirements, referral process, and HUD standards within Safe Haven.
Maintains safety and wellbeing of up to 25 residents; documents interactions.
Develops and monitors housing stability services; coordinates with team.
Maintains client files and data entry per grant guidelines.
