Job summary

VOA Colorado is seeking a Residential Coordinator for Irving Street Women’s Residence in Denver. This role manages the facility during shifts, coordinates housing stability services, and supports residents in maintaining housing within the program and transitioning to community housing after exit.

The position operates in a HUD-identified Safe Haven serving up to 25 women, transgender and gender-neutral individuals with chronic homelessness and mental health disabilities, using Housing First,

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in a related area or the equivalent experience in human services.
• Crises intervention skills preferred.
• Good organisational and planning skills; works well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that the resident’s voice is heard, and resident input informs programming.
• Maintains knowledge of program requirements, referral process, approved costs, and HUD standards.
• Develops and monitors Housing First/CTI-based supportive services for housing stability.
• Documents all client interactions and maintains eligibility and demographic information.
• Oversees safety and upkeep of the facility and supports volunteers and staff as needed.
