HEI Hotels & Resorts in Birmingham, AL seeks a Housekeeping Supervisor to direct the housekeeping team, maintain high cleanliness standards, and ensure exceptional guest experiences. The role involves training staff, coordinating with guests and departments, and ensuring safety and efficiency across rooms and public areas.

The successful candidate will manage schedules, oversee inventory, and uphold company wellness and benefits, including comprehensive health plans and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to grasp, lift, carry or move materials weighing up to 100 lbs with or without accommodation.
• Ability to move throughout building, bend, stoop and reach to assist other staff.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills suitable for various audiences.

Responsabilités

• Supervise housekeeping staff with training, coaching and feedback to maximize efficiency.
• Recruit, interview, train, evaluate performance and, if needed, discipline staff.
• Supervise cleaning of guest rooms, turndown service, public areas and back-of-house to ensure cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Assign staff tasks considering special requests and areas of focus for smooth operation.
• Distribute supplies to staff at shift start to control inventory and expenses.
• Respond to guest requests and concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Log Lost and Found items and answer inquiries to maintain control.
• Implement emergency training and procedures for safety of guests and staff.
• Adhere to attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned.
