Job summary

Residence Inn Birmingham Downtown at UAB on-site is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team and support guest satisfaction. You will supervise and coach staff, assign duties, and monitor cleaning quality in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and dependable attendance. You will handle guest requests, support safety procedures, and contribute to HEI's expectations of service

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping supervision preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to train, coach and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the housekeeping staff; provide training, coaching and feedback to maximize efficiency.
• Interview, hire, train, evaluate performance and manage discipline when appropriate.
• Supervise cleaning of guest rooms, public areas and back of house; ensure health and safety standards.
• Assign tasks and manage inventory to control supplies and expenses.
• Respond to guest requests and inquiries to ensure guest satisfaction.
