Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train, and evaluate housekeeping staff; provide direction and discipline when appropriate.
• Direct housekeeping and laundry staff; assign and inspect work.
• Plan, organize, and monitor staff activities to meet quality standards and inspect guest rooms and public areas.
• Manage finances including budget, inventory, and reports related to expenditures and payroll.
• Delegate workload to maximize production and guest satisfaction while controlling labor and material costs.
• Ensure safe chemical handling and proper labeling per safety programs.
• Plan and conduct staff meetings and communicate information across teams.
• Evaluate furniture, fixtures, and decor; assist rehab project coordination.
• Provide clear written and verbal communication to staff.
• Attend related meetings to disseminate pertinent information and ensure attendance.
