Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of one year hotel housekeeping supervisory/inspector experience.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule to include nights, holidays and weekends.
• Must have the ability to communicate in English.
• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Climbing, reading, standing, walking and routinely lifting 25 lbs to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the housekeeping staff; provide open communication, training, coaching and performance feedback to ensure efficiency.
• Supervise and inspect cleaning of guest rooms, turndown service, public areas and back of the house; ensure compliance with health and sanitation standards and guest satisfaction.
• Issue assignments to staff based on requests and areas of focus to maintain smooth housekeeping operations.
• Distribute supplies to staff at shift start to control inventory and expenses.
• Respond to guest requests, concerns and problems to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Log items into Lost and Found and respond to inquiries to maintain controls.
• Implement emergency training and procedures to protect the hotel, guests, staff, and assets.
• Adhere to attendance rules and be available on a regular basis.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
