Job summary

The Crescent Hotels Group in Baltimore is seeking a facilities maintenance supervisor to oversee maintenance operations across the property. You will manage staff, handle repairs, and ensure the building complies with brand standards and safety protocols.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, pool care, exterior upkeep, and coordination with department heads and service contracts to support energy improvements and capital planning.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train, and evaluate staff, and recommend discipline when appropriate.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in HVAC, plumbing, and other hotel equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis.
• Respond courteously to guest questions, complaints, and requests to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Communicate with department heads to address maintenance needs and ensure timely response.
• Service the hotel's pool, adjust chemicals, and maintain logs.
• Maintain exterior curb appeal, landscaping, and seasonal upkeep.
• Maintain Crescent’s standards and address inspection deficiencies.
• Coordinate service contracts and support Crescent’s Safety Plan and energy improvements.
• Assist General Manager with capital planning.
• Provide clear directions in writing and verbally to staff.
