Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dedicated housekeeping manager to lead and train staff, assign duties, and ensure top-quality guest room and public area cleanliness. You will monitor budgets and inventory, coordinate with other departments, and drive safe chemical handling and sanitation practices.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Knowledge of basic sanitation controls and applicable chemicals.
• Familiarity with safety and security policies in hospitality.
• Strong mathematical skills to support financial reporting.
• Proven supervisory capabilities over housekeeping operations.
• Ability to coordinate with other departments on housekeeping services.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train staff and conduct performance evaluations.
• Provide clear direction in assigning housekeeping and laundry tasks.
• Plan and monitor staff activities to meet quality standards in guest areas.
• Manage finances of housekeeping and laundry operations including budgets and inventory.
• Delegate workload to maximize production and guest satisfaction while controlling costs.
• Ensure safe usage of chemicals and proper labeling per hazard communication rules.
• Plan and conduct staff meetings and share relevant information.
• Evaluate furniture, fixtures, and decor; assist rehab coordination.
• Communicate clearly in writing and verbally with staff and guests.
• Adhere to attendance policies and be available for regular shifts.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
