Job summary

Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant/Supervisor to support daily cleaning operations and supervise room attendants on site.

You will inspect rooms, coordinate tasks, train staff, manage supplies, and respond to guest requests while upholding brand standards and safety guidelines. The role emphasizes leadership and hands-on supervision in a busy hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• A 2- or 4-year degree in hospitality or business management is preferred.
• Experience in housekeeping or guest services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily cleaning operations and assign tasks to staff.
• Inspect guest rooms, hallways and public spaces for cleanliness.
• Onboard and coach new housekeeping staff and monitor performance.
• Coordinate inventory of linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies.
• Work with engineering to fix equipment and ensure safety standards.
• Handle guest requests and VIP room setups.
