Job summary

Extended Stay America in San Jose, CA is seeking a Team Lead to assist the General Manager in daily hotel operations, drive revenue, control costs and ensure guest satisfaction. The role includes supervising 8 to 15 hourly associates, training staff on brand standards, and enforcing safety and security procedures.

You will help manage inventories, handle guest issues, and support front desk and housekeeping as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior hotel experience is required.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Strong communication and guest service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Promote 100% guest satisfaction by resolving issues promptly.
• Assist GM to drive revenue, reduce costs, and improve KPI performance.
• Train associates on brand standards and performance expectations.
• Enforce company policies and safety procedures at the hotel level.
• Monitor guest balances and assist with inventory and purchasing.
• Provide frontline support and address guest service issues.
• Lead by example to maintain professionalism and courtesy.
