Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Team Lead in Fairfield, CA to support the General Manager in daily hotel operations and drive key performance indicators. The TL resolves guest and associate issues and may assume GM responsibilities when required.

The role requires supervising 8 to 15 hourly associates, training staff on brand standards, ensuring safety and policy compliance, and helping maximize revenue while maintaining guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Directly supervise 8 to 15 hourly associates.
• Strong English communication in reading, writing and speaking.
• Prior hotel experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist GM in driving revenue, reducing costs and boosting guest and associate satisfaction.
• Resolve guest and associate issues and escalate when needed.
• Train associates on brand standards and performance expectations.
• Uphold policy compliance and safety procedures hotel-wide.
• Monitor guest balances and issue refund checks.
• Oversee daily purchasing to stay within budget with approved vendors.
• Serve as first contact for guest service issues and resolutions.
• Promote a professional, respectful service culture and 100% guest satisfaction.
