Job summary

Extended Stay America in Carlsbad, California is seeking a Team Lead to assist the General Manager in daily hotel operations, driving guest satisfaction and profitability while upholding brand standards.

The Team Lead will supervise 8–15 hourly associates, train staff on service protocols, manage safety procedures, and coordinate with guests, vendors and the GM to ensure smooth operations and strong performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Comprehend fundamental instructions, write short correspondence, and memos.
• Solid English reading, writing and verbal communication to interact with guests, associates and vendors.
• Oversee/supervise daily activities of 8 to 15 hourly associates.

Responsibilities

• Assist GM in managing hotel operations daily.
• Promote 100% guest satisfaction and drive revenue and GOP.
• Train associates on brand standards and performance expectations.
• Enforce safety, security and policy compliance at hotel level.
• Support inventory, purchasing, and vendor coordination.
