Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is hiring a Maintenance Engineer to protect and service the hotel’s mechanical and electrical systems, pool, and related facilities. You will perform preventative maintenance and respond to equipment issues to support safe, efficient operations.

This full-time role requires knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, with adherence to safety and security procedures. The position may involve varying shifts due to 24/7 hotel operations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance trades including basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
• Ability to recognize safety hazards and security problems in the hotel.
• Willing to comply with hotel policies including appearance, safety and emergency procedures.
• Able to troubleshoot and repair routine mechanical/electrical malfunctions in hotel systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical or electrical systems throughout the hotel.
• Performs preventative maintenance on a schedule basis.
• Maintains hotel pool and grounds, including chemical adjustments.
• Repairs and maintains building exterior, curb appeal, and landscaping.
• Ensures safety procedures and reports unsafe conditions to supervisor.
