Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service and repair hotel mechanical/electrical systems, FF&E, grounds, and pools. The role supports 24/7 hotel operations with varied shifts, performing preventative maintenance and quick repairs to ensure guest safety and comfort.

Qualified candidates should have a strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general trades, plus the ability to follow safety procedures and work well with hotel guests and

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance trades including electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of hotel equipment.
• Ability to recognize safety hazards and comply with policies.
• Proficiency with HVAC, electrical, carpentry, drywalling, painting, plumbing, roofing and landscaping.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctions in mechanical or electrical systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing) and other hotel equipment.
• Performs preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis (e.g., room care).
• Serves the hotel pool: adjust chemicals, clean filters, and complete maintenance logs.
• Maintains exterior of building and curb appeal (lawn care, painting, landscaping).
• Adheres to company policies and procedures; follows safety and security rules.
• Knows department fire prevention and emergency procedures; reports unsafe conditions.
• Assists other Engineering personnel when needed; performs related duties as requested by supervisor.
