Job summary

Comstock Companies is seeking a Security Officer for ParkX Management at Reston, VA. The role involves patrolling the property, controlling access for guests and vendors, and maintaining safety and order across the plaza areas.

Uniforms (suit and tie) provided at no cost. You will support event setups, manage plaza traffic, and enforce policies to ensure a positive experience for residents and guests. This is a customer-facing, on-site role requiring integrity and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Virginia security officer certification required.
• Valid driver's license with no major violations.
• 1 year of customer-service experience preferred.
• Flexibility to work after hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Complete hourly patrols of the property.
• Control access for guests, tenants, and vendors.
• Enforce safety and security on site and report issues to management.
• Maintain plaza kiosks and enforce no-dogs policy.
• Assist during events and manage plaza traffic as needed.
• Escalate concerns to management promptly.
