Job summary

Comstock is seeking a Security Officer for ParkX Management in Reston. The role focuses on maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming environment for residents, tenants, and guests. You will patrol, control access, enforce rules, report issues, and support plaza events.

The position requires a high school diploma, DCJS certification within 90 days, and at least 1 year in customer service. A valid driver’s license and flexible hours are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• DCJS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Minimum 1 year in customer-service related field.
• Valid driver's license without major violations.

Responsibilities

• Complete hourly patrol route of the property using the security system.
• Access control for guests, tenants and vendors.
• Enforce the no dogs on plaza policy and manage signage.
• Conduct routine foot patrols around the building.
• Assist Marketing for Reston events as needed.
• Manage valet at Reston Station and keep plaza moving.
• Document concerns and report to management.
• Close loading dock doors as needed.
