Job summary

Comstock in Reston, VA is seeking a Security Officer to ensure a safe, smooth experience for residents, tenants, and guests at ParkX Management properties.

The role involves patrols, access control, and enforcement of plaza rules, with opportunities to support events and marketing efforts in Reston and Reston Station. A High School Diploma and DCJS certification (or ability to obtain) are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• DCJS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Minimum 1 year of customer-service experience.
• Valid driver's license with no major violations.
• Flexibility to work after hours and weekends.
• Outgoing with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong sense of urgency and integrity.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete hourly patrol route of the property.
• Access control for guests, tenants and vendors.
• Enforce policies and ensure safety and appearance of the plaza.
• Assist marketing during events at Reston and Loudoun Station.
• Manage the valet at Reston Station and monitor plaza traffic.
• Report safety concerns to management and update notices as needed.
• Close loading dock doors and maintain communication with management.
