Qualifications

• Virginia security officer certification required.
• At least 1 year experience in customer-service related field.
• High level of integrity and credibility.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-directed with minimal supervision.
• Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
• Valid driver's license with no major violations.
• Ability to relate to diverse groups and build relationships.
• Willingness to work after hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Complete hourly patrols using the security system.
• Provide access control for guests, tenants, and vendors.
• Enforce no-damage policy and report safety concerns.
• Conduct routine foot patrols around the building.
• Assist with events for Reston properties as needed.
• Maintain and update ban notices and communicate with management.
• Ensure plaza kiosks appearance and enforce 'no dogs' policy.
• Keep fire lanes accessible and close loading dock doors as needed.
• Report concerns to management promptly.
• Manage traffic for Reston Station plaza and coordinate with teams.
