Al Copeland Investments, Inc. is seeking an Assistant General Manager for a Downtown New Orleans hotel. You will lead daily operations, guide department leaders, and ensure seamless service across guest relations, housekeeping, and maintenance.

The role requires strong leadership, budget understanding, and the ability to move between guest service and business management with a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hotel management or supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Hotel/Restaurant Management, or Business or equivalent.
• Strong leadership and communication with teamwork.
• Financial awareness and problem-solving in hotel operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest relations.
• Coach and develop team members, coordinate training, and manage scheduling across departments.
• Handle guest concerns with professionalism and follow-through.
• Help manage budgets, monitor expenses, and support financial planning and reporting.
• Maintain brand standards through property inspections, cleanliness, safety and service.
• Keep departments connected and coordinate with Accounting on property needs.
• Support food and beverage operations as needed.
• Take charge in the General Manager’s absence and provide Manager on Duty coverage.
