Stonebridge in New Orleans, LA seeks an Assistant General Manager to support the GM in overseeing hotel operations, focusing on front-of-house and housekeeping while ensuring guest satisfaction and financial performance.

The role requires 3–5 years in hotel management, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and expertise in revenue management, budgeting, and staff leadership. Flexible schedule and strong leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in hotel/restaurant management or related field.
• 3–5 years of hotel management experience, preferably in front-of-house or rooms division operations.
• Strong knowledge of revenue management, financial analysis, and budgeting.
• Proficiency with property management systems and Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage staff and guest interactions.
• Ability to make data-driven decisions and manage multiple priorities.

Responsabilités

• Oversee hotel operations with emphasis on front-of-house and housekeeping.
• Provide market analysis and local event forecasts to Revenue Management to optimize occupancy and rates.
• Support sales by communicating rate structures and training in yield management.
• Train and motivate front desk staff for front office operations and customer service.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting operating expenses and labor costs.
• Adjust controllable expenses based on monthly revenue forecasts to protect margins.
• Administer cash handling, AP/AR, and payroll in the GM’s absence.
• Train staff to deliver guest services aligned with company standards and address complaints.
• Manage guest loyalty programs and ensure policy compliance.
• Recruit, select, and motivate associates with strong leadership.
• Assist in maintaining hotel facilities and quality control programs.
• Collaborate with GM to address operational challenges and improvement strategies.
