Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, seeks an energetic Assistant General Manager to join our team in delivering exceptional guest experiences and achieving operational goals.

In this leadership role, you will guide hotel operations, coach and develop associates, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with standards and policies. Flexible hours and strong problem-solving abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree is preferred for director-level roles.
• Hotel or hospitality experience relevant to the role is expected.
• Supervisory or leadership experience is preferred for management roles.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required.
• Ability to analyze information and make sound operational decisions.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for assigned hotel operations and associates.
• Set clear expectations and monitor performance, productivity, and service standards.
• Coach, train, develop, and recognize associates to support engagement and retention.
• Monitor operational and financial performance and take appropriate action to achieve goals.
• Ensure compliance with Hotel Equities standards, brand requirements, and company policies.
• Respond effectively to guest concerns and support a consistent service-recovery culture.
• Manage schedules, staffing, supplies, and departmental resources as appropriate.
• Review reports, trends, and key performance information to support sound decisions.
• Communicate effectively with hotel leadership and other departments.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning as appropriate.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
