Job summary

Raines Co. in Little Rock, AR, is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help the General Manager run daily hotel operations smoothly and lead front office and related teams.

You will implement departmental strategies, enforce policies, and support staffing decisions to maintain guest satisfaction and financial performance. The role requires prior GCC/operations experience in hotels, proficiency with Microsoft 365, familiarity with PMS and POS systems, and a relevant education background.

Qualifications

• Prior Assistant General Manager, Front Office Manager, or Operations Manager experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 or similar computer applications.
• Experience with brand's PMS and Point of Sales systems.
• Minimum High school diploma, GED or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day hotel operations and staff assignments.
• Communicate and enforce policies and procedures.
• Recommend staffing actions and alert GM of issues.
• Ensure staff training and provide tools for success.
• Supervise staff across multiple departments as needed.
• Use company-wide tools, systems and applications.
• Provide hands-on support for front office operations.
• Manage accounts receivable and invoices; follow up on payments.
• Oversee front office, revenue, and reservations and protect guest data.
• Ensure a safe environment for guests, employees and assets.
• Respond to guest inquiries and complaints.
• Report incidents to HR, Insurance, and related parties.
• Maintain HR function: employee relations, training and benefits.
• Make recommendations for capital improvements to assets.
