Job summary

Raines Co. is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in ensuring smooth day-to-day hotel operations.

You will oversee staff, enforce policies, manage payroll and HR actions, and drive guest satisfaction with hands-on leadership across front office, revenue, and reservations. This role requires prior managerial experience in hospitality, proficiency with Microsoft 365, and familiarity with PMS and POS systems.

Qualifications

• Prior Assistant General Manager, Front Office Manager, or Operations Manager experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 or similar computer applications.
• Experience with brand's PMS and Point of Sales systems.
• Minimum High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and assignments of the hotel staff; assist the General Manager in developing and communicating departmental strategies and goals.
• Communicate and enforce policies and procedures.
• Recommend and/or initiate staffing actions and alert General Manager of potential issues.
• Ensure staff are trained and have tools and equipment needed to perform their roles.
• Supervise staff in multiple departments as needed.
• Provide hands-on support for front office operations.
• Ensure accounts receivable are updated and invoices are sent and reconciled weekly.
