Job summary

Raines Co. is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help the General Manager ensure smooth day-to-day hotel operations and effective staff management.

You will oversee front office, guest services, HR compliance, budgeting, and daily reporting, while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment and delivering superior guest experiences. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a track record of leading teams in hospitality.

Qualifications

• Prior Assistant General Manager or Operations Manager experience.
• Proficient with brand PMS and POS systems.
• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred; high school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day hotel operations and staff assignments.
• Communicate and enforce policies and procedures.
• Manage staffing actions per company rules and HR guidance.
• Ensure staff training and proper tools are provided.
• Supervise multiple departments as needed.
• Support front office operations and guest services.
• Ensure accounts receivable and invoicing are updated weekly.
• Maintain safe environment for guests and employees.
