Job summary

Raines Co. in Columbus, MS, seeks an Assistant General Manager to help the General Manager run daily hotel operations and lead multiple departments. You will ensure smooth front-office functions, drive guest satisfaction, and manage staff performance within company policies.

The role requires prior AG M or similar operations experience, proficiency with Microsoft 365, and familiarity with PMS and POS systems. A high school diploma is required; a Bachelor1s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft 365 or similar computer applications.
• Experience with brand PMS and POS systems.
• Experience as Assistant General Manager, Front Office Manager, or Operations Manager.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor1s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day hotel operations and staff assignments; assist General Manager with departmental strategies.
• Communicate and enforce policies and procedures.
• Monitor staffing actions and HR-related issues per company rules.
• Ensure staff are trained and equipped to perform their duties.
• Support front office operations and guest services.
• Oversee accounts receivable, invoices, and credit follow-up.
• Maintain safe environment for guests, employees and assets.
• Report incidents to HR, Insurance, and leadership as needed.
