Job summary

Ascent Hospitality in Montgomery, AL, is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead hotel operations and support the General Manager. You will supervise Front Office, Housekeeping, and F&B, directing resources and processes to maximize efficiency and guest satisfaction.

The AGM must foster a positive work environment, train staff, and ensure compliance with brand standards, safety policies, and corporate procedures while delivering exceptional guest service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in hotel operations and leadership.
• Experience with major hotel brands is a plus.
• Excellent service orientation and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily hotel operations and staffing.
• Partner with GM to foster a positive work environment.
• Guide front office and other departments to deliver guest service.
• Conduct daily walkthroughs and quality checks.
• Manage vendor invoices and cash processes.
• Ensure safety, policy compliance, and training.
