Job summary

Ascent Hospitality seeks an Assistant General Manager to serve as a key liaison for hotel guests and assist the General Manager, while supporting Front Office operations and other departments such as Housekeeping and Food & Beverage.

The AGM will work hands-on to maximize hotel efficiency and profitability, directing resources and processes for day-to-day operations and creating a positive work environment that delivers exceptional guest service.

• - Leadership experience in hotel operations.
• - Strong communication and guest service orientation.
• - Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize daily department scheduling and activities.
• Partner with GM to foster a positive work environment.
• Support Front Office and other departments to ensure exceptional guest service.
• Conduct regular walk-throughs and quality checks for service standards.
• Train front desk/guest services and night audit staff on brand standards.
