Job summary

Ascent Hospitality is seeking an Assistant General Manager with Hilton experience to oversee daily hotel operations in Montgomery, AL. The AGM works closely with the GM, supports Front Office and other departments, and ensures service excellence.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining brand standards and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in hotel operations and leadership roles.
• Experience with a major hotel brand is a plus (Hilton, Marriott).
• Exceptional service orientation with guest-focused mindset.
• Proactive problem solving and strong initiative.
• Flexible shifts and ability to work without constant supervision.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily scheduling and activities across departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Partner with General Manager to foster a positive work environment.
• Support frontline staff across all departments as needed.
• Conduct daily walk-throughs and quality checks to ensure service excellence.
• Oversee guest services, breakfast service, and compliance with SOPs and brand standards.
