Job summary

Ascent Hospitality is seeking an Assistant General Manager to act as a key liaison for hotel guests and a trusted right hand to the General Manager. This hands-on leader will support Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and other departments to maximize hotel efficiency and profitability.

The AGM will work closely with department managers to drive exceptional guest service, supervise daily operations, and maintain a positive, energized work environment aligned with company standards.

Qualifications

• High school education required.
• Minimum two years in a hotel management role.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication and guest-service focus.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends/nights.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily scheduling and activities to ensure hotel operations run smoothly.
• Partner with GM to foster a positive work environment.
• Support front office and other departments as needed.
• Conduct daily walk-throughs and quality checks for service excellence.
• Plan, organize and delegate daily activities to meet forecasted business.
