Job summary

Ascent Hospitality is seeking an Assistant General Manager to serve as a key liaison for hotel guests and a right hand to the General Manager. The AGM will support Front Office operations and other departments, directing resources and processes to enhance day-to-day hotel performance.

In this hands-on role, you will lead Scheduling, guest service initiatives, and staff training, ensuring compliance with brand standards and driving exceptional guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in hotel operations leadership role.
• Experience with a major hotel brand is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate daily scheduling and activities to ensure smooth operations.
• Partner with GM to foster a positive work environment.
• Support frontline staff across departments.
• Conduct daily walk-throughs and quality checks to ensure service excellence.
• Delegate daily operational activities against forecasted business volume.
• Drive cross-department communication to align objectives.
