Job summary

Ascent Hospitality is seeking an Assistant General Manager to serve as a key liaison for guests and to support the General Manager across Front Office, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage. This hands-on role will drive daily hotel operations with a focus on service excellence.

You will lead a medium to large team, partner with department managers, ensure safety and brand standards, and foster a positive, productive environment that delivers consistent guest satisfaction and operational

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in hotel operations with leadership experience.
• Experience with a major hotel brand is a plus.
• Able to work weekends, holidays, and nights.

Responsibilities

• Monitor department scheduling and daily operations.
• Partner with GM to foster a positive work environment.
• Support front office and other departments.
• Conduct daily walkthroughs and quality checks.
• Manage vendor invoices and supervision of cash handling.
