Job summary

Viejas Casino & Resort is seeking a Hotel Operations Supervisor to assist the hotel team with day-to-day front desk operations and guest service delivery across the assigned area. You will work with leadership to ensure smooth check-in/check-out, accurate reporting, and responsive guest resolutions.

You will supervise team members, schedule shifts, provide coaching and training, evaluate performance, recruit for hotel positions, enforce policies, and maintain a clean, safe work environment while

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• California RBS training required on hire.
• Minimum 2 years hospitality experience.
• 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
• Clear written and spoken communication skills.
• Proficient with Word and Excel.
• Strong planning, organization and multitasking ability.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day hotel operations in the assigned area.
• Guide and direct hotel team members to meet service requirements.
• Schedule team members to cover all areas and shifts.
• Provide cross-training for shift-related duties.
• Coach, monitor and discipline team members as needed.
• Evaluate and monitor team performance ongoing.
• Participate in recruitment and hiring decisions.
• Enforce company policies and procedures consistently.
• Maintain effective communication with team members and guests.
• Ensure a clean, safe and hazard-free work environment.
• Adhere to policies and standard operating guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Provide direct supervision of team members in hotel operations.
