Job summary

Viejas Casino & Resort is seeking an Assistant Spa Manager to oversee daily spa operations, budgeting, payroll, scheduling, and inventory coordination. You will supervise spa supervisors, attendants, receptionists, and reservationists, reporting to the Spa Manager.

The role includes collaboration on marketing, group sales, and event planning to drive guest satisfaction and revenue. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in hospitality, with experience in spa services, events, and leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in hospitality, exercise science, health education, business or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in hospitality industry, preferably in sales capacity.
• Experience with professional spa services and treatments preferred.
• Experience with event planning preferred.
• Creative in marketing and promotion, sales oriented.
• Effective leadership skills and a strong work ethic.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Flexible to work different shifts, evenings and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily spa operations, including training, performance reviews, and staff discipline.
• Coordinate with spa supervisor, receptionists, and support staff to ensure accurate and professional service.
• Assist with hiring, training, and scheduling of front desk staff based on demand and budget.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and report concerns or improvement ideas to Spa Director.
• Provide excellent customer service and manage guest feedback using comments cards and other methods.
