Job summary

Viejas Casino & Resort is seeking a Front Office Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations of the Front Office staff, ensuring adherence to policies and outstanding guest service. You will coach, counsel, and issue discipline when necessary, monitor wait-times, and adjust service accordingly to maintain efficiency and a superior guest experience.

The role includes supervising valet/bell, check-in/out, and reservation sales, along with training staff on department procedures, safety standards,

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in hotel/hospitality preferred.
2–4 years related experience and/or training in hospitality or similar.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to learn PMS.

Responsibilities

Supervise Front Office staff including valet/bell, room check-ins/check-outs, and reservation sales.
Schedule and coordinate work assignments, breaks and days off.
Train staff on performance and department procedures; provide coaching and discipline as needed.
Ensure safety compliance and adherence to policies and standards.
Perform clerical duties such as credit card reversals, deposits, AR, and room listings.
Monitor inventory and maintain required records; prepare reports as required.
Provide assistance to other job classifications as needed; respond to inquiries promptly.
Maintain high levels of guest service and effective communication with sales and housekeeping teams.
