Job summary

Viejas Casino & Resort in the San Diego area seeks an Assistant Spa Manager to oversee guest services, budgeting, scheduling, and payroll details while supervising spa supervisors, attendants, receptionists and reservationists.

This role partners with the Spa Manager to train staff, coordinate events, manage inventory, and drive guest satisfaction and sales through marketing initiatives and calendar planning.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hospitality experience, preferably in sales.
• Experience with professional spa services and treatments.
• Experience with event planning preferred.
• Creative in marketing and promotion, sales oriented.
• Effective leadership and strong work ethic.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Flexible to work different shifts, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily spa operations and staff performance, including training and disciplinary actions.
• Coordinate with spa supervisor, receptionists and support staff to service groups accurately and professionally.
• Assist with hiring, training, and scheduling front desk staff per business needs and budget.
• Coach and counsel staff on policies and procedures.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and report concerns to the Spa Director; implement improvements.
• Provide excellent customer service and manage guest feedback via various channels.
• Create and maintain services in spa computer systems.
