Job summary

Azul Hospitality seeks an Assistant General Manager for Embassy Suites Scottsdale, AZ. The role oversees hotel operations, directs the management team, and drives profitability while maintaining service excellence for guests and staff.

Responsibilities include budgeting, payroll oversight, HR activities, and ensuring standards across maintenance, cleanliness, and guest experience. The AGM partners with department heads to meet quarterly goals and uphold company policies and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Hotel Operations experience required.
• Three to Five years of Management experience required.
• Knowledgeable of loyalty programs, brand standards and hospitality industry systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, direct, and manage hotel operations to maximize profitability and guest satisfaction.
• Work with Management Team to manage all property activities including employees, maintenance, sales and profit/loss controls.
• Set quarterly departmental goals and monitor progress toward them.
• Ensure product quality standards in appearance, maintenance and cleanliness.
• Maintain standards of guest services and a consistent guest experience.
• Oversee HR matters including interviewing, hiring, training, and employee development.
• Monitor payroll costs and other expenses against budgets and forecasts.
• Assist in managing P&L by controlling costs and achieving CPOR targets.
• Foster open communication across departments to deliver exceptional service.
