Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in daily hotel operations, focusing on guest satisfaction and associate engagement. The AGM will supervise hourly staff, schedule, train, and ensure safety and security compliance across the property.

You will partner with the GM/MUGM to drive revenue, control costs, and maintain standards that deliver a consistent, high‑quality guest experience while fostering a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED; or equivalent experience.
• Prior hotel experience preferred.
• Strong supervisory and leadership abilities.
• Ability to manage 8–15 hourly staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day hotel operations and guest satisfaction.
• Train and supervise 8–15 hourly staff.
• Ensure safety compliance and reporting.
• Assist in revenue growth and GOP targets.
