Waterford Hotel Group's Hotel Gettysburg seeks a dynamic, hands-on Director of Operations to act as the operational leader of a premier full-service historic hotel. Reporting to the General Manager, this executive drives operational excellence across departments, maximizing guest experiences and financial performance while engaging associates.

The role provides strategic leadership and day-to-day oversight of Rooms Division, F&B, Housekeeping, Front Office, Engineering and other operations,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive hotel operations leadership in a full-service property.
• Leadership overseeing Rooms Operations and Food & Beverage.
• Strong financial acumen with budgets, labor costs, forecasting.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Able to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Desire to advance into a General Manager role and pass a background check.

Responsabilités

• Lead the daily operations of a full-service hotel and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Inspire, coach and develop department leaders with a culture of accountability.
• Drive planning, revenue optimization, labor management and expense control.
• Monitor KPIs, implement action plans and improve guest scores and financial results.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety, sanitation and policies.
• Partner with the GM on budgeting, forecasting and capital planning.
• Build relationships with the Gettysburg community and local leaders.
• Champion associate engagement and a positive workplace culture.
