Job summary

Waterford Hotel Group in Milford, CT is seeking an experienced Hotel Operations Manager to oversee all hotel operations and staff across Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and Engineering/Maintenance.

You will drive guest and employee satisfaction while maximizing department financial performance, ensuring standards and procedures are consistently followed, and leading talent through effective hiring and onboarding processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Associate’s degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major.
• 4 years experience (2 years with an Associate’s degree) in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area.
• Experience in implementing payroll and inventory cost controls.
• Hotel management experience is required.
• You must be able to pass a thorough background check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hotel Operations departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and Engineering/Maintenance.
• Improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximize financial performance.
• Ensure standards and procedures are consistently followed.
• Interview candidates and assist in hiring decisions.
• Supervise staff and ensure training orientations are completed.
