Job summary

Waterford Hotel Group seeks an Operations Manager to oversee all hotel operations including Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B and Engineering. You will drive guest satisfaction, optimize financial performance, and ensure adherence to standards and procedures.

Key responsibilities include staff leadership, payroll and inventory controls, and timely guest communications. The role requires strong hospitality skills, effective communication, and a proactive, service-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Associate’s degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Admin, or related major preferred.
• 4 years experience (2 years with an Associate’s degree) in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area.
• Experience implementing payroll and inventory cost controls.
• Staff management experience is a plus.
• Ability to pass a thorough background check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hotel operations across Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Engineering/Maintenance.
• Improve guest and employee satisfaction while maximizing department financial performance.
• Manage staff, ensure standards, and follow procedures.
• Publish guest satisfaction results and address concerns proactively.
• Review financial statements and performance data to measure productivity and goals.
• Interview candidates and assist in hiring decisions.
• Ensure orientations for new team members are thorough and timely.
