Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure all property equipment functions and guest rooms are in good repair. The role involves preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and timely repairs across the hotel.

You will maintain records, follow the Green Shield Binder procedures, and assist with emergency responses as needed. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and a strong service mindset.

Qualifications

• Read and speak English proficiently and interact with guests and associates.
• Understand and follow safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures.
• Write routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned maintenance tasks per work orders.
• Inspect and maintain building systems, safety equipment and common areas.
• Respond to guest requests with timely follow-through.
• Assist with cleaning and minor repairs in guest rooms and public areas.
• Maintain tools and work areas in an organized, safe state.
• Follow company policies and safety procedures.
