Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure all property equipment functions correctly and guest rooms are kept in good repair. The role emphasizes delivering a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and associates across the property.

The technician will perform preventive maintenance, handle work orders, and follow Green Shield Binder procedures, while maintaining organized records and responding to emergencies as directed by management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and speak English proficiently.
• Willingness to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all property equipment is functioning and premises are maintained in pristine condition.
• Respond to guest requests and work orders promptly and professionally.
• Perform out-of-room cleaning and maintain cleanliness of building interiors, exteriors, and grounds.
• Complete preventative maintenance inspections and repairs as outlined in the Green Shield Binder.
• Maintain records such as PM deficiencies, PM inspections, Life Safety inspections, elevator inspections, and non-guest room deficiencies.
• Assist with emergencies and coordinate with management as needed.
