Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure all property equipment and rooms are in good repair and maintained to the company’s standards. The role focuses on timely repairs, preventive maintenance, and a high standard of cleanliness and safety across the hotel environment.

Responsibilities include responding to guest requests, performing routine maintenance, and coordinating with management to uphold quality service.

Qualifications

• Read and speak English proficiently and interact with guests, associates, and vendors.
• Understand and follow safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and company guidelines.
• Write routine reports and keep maintenance logs.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest requests and maintenance issues promptly and professionally.
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance per the Green Shield Binder and work orders.
• Keep maintenance areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Inspect and maintain life safety devices, fire extinguishers, alarms, and related equipment.
• Assist with emergency responses at the property or other sites as needed.
