Extended Stay America is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure all property equipment is functional and premises remain pristine. The role involves repairing guest rooms, performing preventative maintenance, and following company SOPs.

You will handle cleaning, safety checks, and emergency responses while maintaining logs and coordinating with vendors. The position requires a High School diploma or GED, good English skills, and physical ability to perform maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Read and speak English proficiently.
• Understand and follow safety rules and procedures.
• Write routine reports and correspondence.
• Perform basic math and measurements.
• Use measurement units for weight, volume and distance.
• Apply good judgment at all times.
• Assist with resolving guest issues per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance to ensure guest rooms and common areas are in good repair.
• Respond to guest requests and work with management on tasks.
• Perform cleaning and upkeep per Green Shield Binder requirements.
• Complete repairs listed on work orders and follow up as needed.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and document results.
• Maintain organized work areas and keep tools in good condition.
• Follow safety, security, and SOP guidelines in daily workflow.
• Coordinate with vendors and assist emergencies when needed.
