Extended Stay America, Inc. in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure hotel equipment operates smoothly and guest rooms remain in top condition. The role emphasizes safety, preventative maintenance, and timely responses to maintenance requests.

You will follow Green Shield procedures, maintain clean work areas, work with vendors, and support safety and security policies while contributing to a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure property equipment is functioning and premises are in pristine condition.
• Complete tasks in a timely fashion per Green Shield Binder and management directions.
• Respond to guest requests with diligent follow-through.
• Perform out-of-room cleaning including trash removal and building upkeep.
• Address repairs listed on work orders and complete preventive maintenance inspections.
• Maintain records per Green Shield Binder (deficiencies, inspections, logs).
• Keep maintenance areas organized; safeguard tools and inventory daily.
• Ensure fire safety equipment is operational and inspections are up-to-date.
• Assist with emergencies and coordinate with management as needed.
• Coordinate with outside vendors as directed by management.
