Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician responsible for the preventative and repair of the hotel’s mechanical and electrical systems, building upkeep, and safety.

You will troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry issues, perform planned maintenance, service the pool and grounds, and ensure compliance with safety policies; flexible shifts due to 24/7 hotel operations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of all maintenance trades including basic electrical, plumbing and carpentry.
• High mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of hotel equipment.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and hotel policies.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in mechanical and electrical systems throughout the hotel.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems.
• Service the hotel pool and maintain grounds; complete logs and work orders.
• Maintain exterior of building and curb appeal; ensure safety compliance.
• Assist other engineering personnel and perform related duties as assigned.
