Driftwood Hospitality Management in Miami is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to oversee preventative and corrective maintenance of the hotel’s mechanical and electrical systems, and the general upkeep of the property.

The role covers HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, pool maintenance and exterior upkeep, with emphasis on safety, compliance and reliable upkeep across a 24/7 operation.

Formación

• Knowledge of maintenance trades including electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for hotel equipment operation and repair.
• Ability to handle safety hazards and security concerns in a hotel setting.
• Willingness to follow hotel policies, grooming standards and emergency procedures.
• Skilled in HVAC, electrical, carpentry, drywalling, painting, plumbing, roofing and landscaping.
• Able to troubleshoot and repair routine mechanical/electrical malfunctions in hotel systems.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoots and repairs malfunction in mechanical or electrical systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing) and other equipment throughout the hotel.
• Performs preventative maintenance assignments on a schedule basis.
• Services the hotel’s pool, including adjusting chemicals and cleaning filters; completing maintenance request forms and logs.
• Maintains the building exterior and curb appeal (lawn care, painting, gardening).
• Adheres to all company policies, safety and security procedures.
• Knows fire prevention and emergency procedures; uses protective equipment as required.
• Reports unsafe conditions, accidents or property loss to supervisor.
• Maintains a neat, clean and well groomed appearance per team member handbook.
• Assists other Engineering Personnel and performs related duties as assigned.
