Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Engineer in Weston, FL to maintain and repair mechanical and electrical systems, FF&E, and property grounds. The role covers preventative maintenance, safety compliance, and occasional scheduling variations due to a 24/7 operation.

The candidate will troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, perform routine repairs, and ensure the building remains safe, clean, and well maintained for guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance trades including basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair routine mechanical and electrical malfunctions in hotel systems.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to security procedures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs malfunction in mechanical or electrical systems throughout the hotel.
• Performs preventative maintenance on a schedule basis.
• Maintains pool, grounds, and exterior; ensures curb appeal.
• Follows safety and security procedures.
• Reports unsafe conditions and accidents to supervisor.
• Keeps work area neat and well groomed; assists other engineering staff.
