Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management seeks an on-site Maintenance Technician to care for mechanical and electrical systems across the hotel, ensuring safe, reliable operation and guest comfort. The role involves preventive maintenance, pool care, and outdoor upkeep, with varied shifts due to 24/7 operations.

Candidates should have basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry, and follow safety procedures to protect guests and staff. High school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of all maintenance trades including basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair routine mechanical/electrical malfunctions.
• Ability to follow safety, security, and emergency procedures.
• Willingness to comply with hotel policies including appearance and grooming.
• Experience with HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting, plumbing and landscaping is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctions in mechanical or electrical systems (HVAC, plumbing) and other equipment throughout the hotel.
• Performs preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis (e.g., room care).
• Maintains pool operations and chemical levels; completes maintenance request logs.
• Cares for building exterior and curb appeal (lawn, painting, landscaping).
• Assists other engineering staff and performs related duties as directed.
